MP Kalin Stoyanov has submitted a report to the prosecution regarding Interior Minister Ivan Demerdzhiev. He announced this himself through a post on the social network Facebook.
In his report, Stoyanov insists on an investigation into the facts and circumstances surrounding pre-trial proceedings in which the Minister of Interior, Ivan Demerdzhiev, has been charged.
"Today, I submitted a report to the acting Prosecutor General of the Republic of Bulgaria, Ms. Vanya Stefanova, with the aim of verifying facts and circumstances related to the pre-trial proceedings in which the Minister of Interior, Ivan Demerdzhiev, has been charged. I am of the opinion, by the way, as Minister Demerdzhiev has also repeatedly shared, that we should all be equal before the law," stated Kalin Stoyanov in his post.
