The Exhibition "Living Human Treasures – Bulgaria" Visits Pomorie (April 2024)

The exhibition presents elements of the intangible cultural heritage of Bulgaria (2008-2024) and will be shown in Pomorie in April. 48 elements are included, and archival documents from the IEFE-BAS are used.

The exhibition „Living Human Treasures – Bulgaria“ (National Representative List of Elements of Intangible Cultural Heritage) is visiting Pomorie and can be viewed during April in the foyer of the Community Center „Prosveta 1888“.

Visitors will see the elements inscribed between 2008 and 2024 of the intangible cultural heritage of Bulgaria, including the application „Erkechko Lazaruvane: the living tradition“ in 2016. The exhibition includes 48 elements of intangible cultural heritage, inscribed from 2008 to 2024. Archival documents, stored in the National Center for Intangible Cultural Heritage at the Institute of Ethnology and Folklore Studies with Ethnographic Museum - Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (IEFEM-BAS), were used for its preparation. The authors of the exhibition are the scientists from IEFEM - BAS: corr. member Prof. Dr. of Arts Mila Santova, Dr. Milena Lyubenova, and Dr. Arch. Mirella Kafkova.
