Success for Nesebar Basketball at the National Level
Basketball Club "Nesebar" recorded a memorable performance, finishing 9th out of the 12 best teams in the country at the National Championship for boys under 12. The tournament was held in the city of Ruse from May 19 to 23.
This is the club's first participation in the National Championship finals since 2020 and the fourth in its history – a true breakthrough for youth basketball in the seaside town.
The Road to Success: Fierce Battles and Strong Character
During the championship, the team from Nesebar played a series of tough matches in the competitive Group "A". The boys showed exceptional spirit right from the start, recording a prestigious victory over the powerhouse CSKA Sofia.
- Strong opponents: Despite losses to "Rilski Sportist", "Dunav", "Eagles", and "Minyor", the team did not give up.
- Domination at the end: In the decisive matches for the final standings (9-12), the Nesebar basketball players were uncompromising.
- Two convincing victories: "Vihren" (Sandanski) and a second success over CSKA Sofia solidified the 9th position in the final ranking.
