Intensive traffic at Bulgarian border checkpoints - current morning information

Morning traffic report for Bulgarian border checkpoints with Romania, Turkey, Serbia, and North Macedonia, including important road restrictions and construction activities.

The morning report of the Main Border Police Directorate reveals significant traffic at several border today. Vehicle movement is most intensive on routes towards Romania, Turkey, and Serbia.

At the Bulgarian-Romanian border at the Ruse border checkpoint, a large-scale repair of the national section of the Danube Bridge is underway. Due to current construction activities, traffic is limited to one lane, with passage directly controlled by the executing company's staff.

The "Captain Andreevo" border checkpoint towards Turkey reports a high concentration of passenger vehicles entering the country. A similar situation exists at the Kalotina border checkpoint towards Serbia, where traffic is intense both entering and exiting.

A positive development is the restoration of movement through the Stanke Lisichkovo border checkpoint towards North Macedonia, which is now functioning normally in both directions.

On Greek territory, along the Rudozem-Xanti route, local authorities have marked a construction site. The placed information signs explicitly prohibit access by unauthorized persons to the site.

In the mountain border areas of Makaza, Zlatograd, and Ivaylovgrad, a specific restriction has been introduced - passage is allowed only for passenger cars and minibuses with a maximum weight of 3.5 tons.
