Information Meetings on the Euro in Bulgaria: Schedules and Locations

A national information campaign for the introduction of the euro in Bulgaria is forthcoming. Information meetings will be held in Pernik, Dulovo, Maglizh, Knezha and Nesebar today, providing key information for citizens.

Today, in several Bulgarian cities, information meetings are upcoming, part of the large-scale National Information Campaign for the introduction of the euro in Bulgaria. The aim of these events is to provide citizens with clear, detailed, and reliable information on all key stages and deadlines related to the upcoming introduction of the single European currency.

Today, the residents of Pernik, Dulovo, Maglizh, Knezha, and Nessebar will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the process up close, asking their questions to the experts.

In Pernik, the meeting is scheduled to start at 09:30 in the hall of the Mining Directorate, at "Sv. Ivan Rilski" Square No. 1. The program foresees the conduct of two separate sessions, giving the opportunity for more people to participate and receive information.

In the other cities – Dulovo, Maglizh, Knezha, and Nessebar – the meetings will start at 11:00. They will be held at different locations to ensure convenient access for local residents. In Dulovo, Maglizh, and Knezha, the meetings will be organized in the buildings of the respective municipalities. In Nessebar, the host of the information meeting will be the hall in the "Artikum" CEC.

The experts who will be present at the meetings are ready to answer key questions that concern citizens. They will provide information on how to correctly convert currency, what the specific requirements for traders are, as provided for in the Law for the Introduction of the Euro in the Republic of Bulgaria (ZVERB), what are the rights of consumers and how to report violations. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions to clarify all aspects of the upcoming change. The atmosphere is expected to be lively, with great interest from the local communities who are preparing for the arrival of the euro.
