Recognition for Contribution to Bulgarian Culture and Education
At an official ceremony in the Coat of Arms Hall at "Dondukov" 2, Vice President Iliana Iotova presented the Honorary Sign of the President to prominent individuals and institutions with key contributions to education, literature, and the arts.
"The awards are a sign of recognition for the established high standard and dedication to strengthening spirituality," emphasized the head of state's press secretariat.
Who was awarded the honorary distinction?
- NATFA "Krastyo Sarafov": On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the birth of the academy's patron, the distinction was received by Rector Prof. Miroslav Dachev for the training of successful artists.
- Prof. Borislava Taneva: The distinguished pianist was awarded for her merits to the Bulgarian piano school and the promotion of our musical culture around the world.
- Georgi Konstantinov: The poet received recognition for his significant contribution to contemporary poetry and the enrichment of literary heritage.
- Giuseppe de Francesco: The Honorary Consul of Italy in Plovdiv was honored for strengthening cultural and economic ties between Bulgaria and Italy.
- Tenko Tenev: A poet and public figure, awarded for his contribution to public life and the development of Bulgarian literature.
