Iliana Iotova on judicial reform: Professionalism is needed, not adventurism
During her visit to Veliko Tarnovo, Vice President Iliana Iotova expressed her position regarding future changes in the judicial system. According to her, the success of the new majority depends on whether they will succeed in guaranteeing justice, which is crucial for restoring citizens' trust in institutions.
What I personally very much approve of is that this time professional opinion will also be taken into account, added Iotova.
Iotova criticized previous actions, describing them as "adventurous":
- Need for well-thought-out reforms instead of hasty changes to the Constitution.
- Focus on the real results that citizens expect.
- Overcoming distrust in the legal system.
During her visit to Veliko Tarnovo, the Vice President participated in the opening of "Journalist" Square in front of the "St. St. Cyril and Methodius" High School of Humanities and took part in the celebrations for the patron saint's day of Veliko Tarnovo University.
