The forum focuses on the future of Europe's defense architecture and the common threats facing the EU.
Defense and Development by 2030
At the center of the discussions will be the need for:
- Strengthening Europe's defense readiness by 2030.
- Accelerating the analysis of threats to the European Union.
Bulgaria and Leadership in the SEECP
The event is directly linked to the Bulgarian Chairmanship-in-Office of the South-East European Cooperation Process (SEECP). An important highlight is the upcoming Summit on June 10, 2026, which will mark 30 years since the inception of the initiative.
The SEECP remains a leading political format for building trust and good neighborly relations, with Bulgaria proud of its role as the initiator of the platform, established back in 1996 in Sofia.
