Fines of over 54,300 euros for violations related to the introduction of the euro in Varna region

The Varna National Revenue Agency imposes fines of over 54,300 euros for violations during the introduction of the euro. 480 signals were received, 770 inspections were carried out, and 103 acts were drawn up. An attempt to use a counterfeit banknote was registered. The Consumer Protection Commission received 123 complaints.

Inspectors from the National Revenue Agency (NRA) Varna have imposed fines of over 54,300 euros for violations related to the introduction of the euro.

Since the beginning of the year, 480 reports have been received at the NRA directorate. 770 inspections have been completed and 103 acts have been drawn up. During the last week, 3 penalty decrees have been issued.

The police have been notified of an attempt to use a counterfeit 500 euro banknote.

123 complaints have been received by the Consumer Protection Commission. Of these, 20 were deemed unfounded. The inspected establishments number 92.

There are no reports of violations in the Regional Directorate for Food Safety, Varna Customs, and municipal administrations.
