Voting with machines abroad: 130 sections in 20 countries

The Central Election Commission announced voting with machines in 130 sections abroad. Rositsa Mateva pointed out rejected appeals against the decision on the sections. Increased interest from Bulgarian citizens.

Voting machines will be available in 130 polling stations in 20 countries, said the chairperson of the Central Election Commission (CEC), Kamelia Neykova.

The machines are distributed where greater workload is expected.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) has received access to the machine warehouse.

Twice as much interest from Bulgarian citizens abroad compared to the end of 2024, especially in the UK. Neykova hopes for high voter turnout.

An electoral map will be published.

Six cases against the decision regarding polling stations abroad have been dismissed.
