The sailors from the crew of the ferry “Druzhba” will exercise their right to vote in open waters. The crew consists of 26 people, all of whom have the right to participate in today's parliamentary elections, the chairman of the Regional Election Commission (REC) in Burgas, Fani Semerdzhieva, told BTA.

The commission clarified that the vote will be held with paper ballots, as the revealed polling station has less than 300 voters. After the end of election day, the voting protocol will be sent to the commission by fax or email.

Voting by Bulgarian sailors on board “Druzhba” is organized for the fifth time. The expectations are that voter turnout will reach 100 percent this time as well, as in previous cases.
