A high-ranking American politician launched an unprecedented diplomatic offensive against countries that continue to maintain economic ties with Russia through oil supplies. Lindsey Graham issued a categorical warning to strategic international players regarding the consequences of their trade policy.

In a sharp declaration, the senator emphasized that the US is ready to apply extremely strict trade restrictions. The specific mechanism includes introducing draconian duties on oil imports, which currently constitute about 80% of the Russian export market.

His position is extremely principled - countries that continue to support the Russian economy through oil deals will be subjected to serious economic pressure. "Our goal is to paralyze the Russian economic machine," the American politician stated categorically.

Graham also made an additional political comment related to the current geopolitical situation. According to him, in an alternative scenario, if former President Donald Trump were in the place of Russian leader Vladimir Putin, the negotiation process would have proceeded in a completely different way.

The threat of economic sanctions is another attempt by the US to exert international pressure on countries that continue to maintain trade relations with Russia. The message is clear - those who support the Russian economy will face serious consequences.

Graham's diplomatic rhetoric demonstrates a firm position of the American administration regarding international trade practices and readiness to take decisive actions in defense of their own foreign policy interests.
