A few days ago, the new Chinese SUV - Geely Starray EM-i was presented on the Bulgarian market. The new model enters our market with a special price, starting from 29,990 euros for the Pro equipment level, which makes it the most affordable plug-in hybrid SUV in Bulgaria.
For the more exclusive Max equipment level, a surcharge of only 2000 euros is required, bringing the price to 31,990 euros. The number of cars is limited, and those interested can get additional information from any authorized Geely representative in Bulgaria.

The new Geely Starray EM-i offers a new drive system, designed to provide full power when needed and high efficiency when you want peace and quiet with the EM-i Super Hybrid system. This is a new generation of drive that is intelligent, powerful and quiet.
The new Geely Starray EM-i for the European market has a battery with a capacity of 18.4 kWh. This battery allows the car an electric range of about 83 km according to WLTP, which is completely sufficient for daily driving in urban conditions or shorter trips.
The heart of the new model is the EM-i Super Hybrid system, which combines a 1.5-liter petrol engine with 99 hp and a powerful electric motor with 218 hp (160 kW), as well as 262 Nm of torque. Fuel consumption is only 6.2 liters per 100 km (WLTP), and electricity consumption is 14.7 kWh/100 km.
Thanks to the plug-in hybrid drive, the new Geely Starray EM-i has a total autonomous range of up to 943 km. Actual results may vary depending on driving style, road and traffic conditions, environmental influences, vehicle condition, use of additional features and built-in equipment.

Fast charging (DC) with a power of 30 kW allows the battery to be charged from 30% to 80% in less than 20 minutes, while charging (AC) with a power of 6.6 kW fills the battery in less than 3 hours. This design solution aims to reduce air resistance and increase efficiency. The aerodynamics of this car has contributed to the low drag coefficient, which amounts to Cd 0.288, which increases energy efficiency and reduces energy consumption.
The new Geely Starray EM-i uses advanced aerodynamic shapes, optimized surfaces and air channels in the design of the front and rear of the car, which leads to a very low aerodynamic coefficient. These features allow for better energy efficiency and also contribute to a quieter and more stable ride at higher speeds. The color palette for the Geely Starray EM-i is created to emphasize the elegant lines and futuristic character of the model and consists of 6 metallic colors, including volcanic gray and "Jungle" green, but also with a luxurious interior design, available in the exquisite options of ebony black and caramel brown.

The new Geely Starray EM-i offers the most space in its class, a spacious rear seat, comfortable seats with a multi-layer filling and a large panoramic glass roof that illuminates the interior. The interior offers extensive space, characteristic of models from the upper segment, thanks to the wheelbase of 2.76 meters and a leading space utilization coefficient of 67.5%.
Passengers will enjoy ergonomic seats with a 9-layer cushion structure, as well as heating and ventilation options. The luggage compartment volume is 528 liters, including 100 liters of additional space under the luggage compartment floor, and 2065 liters with folded rear seats. The Flyme Sound system with 16 speakers and a 1000-watt amplifier, including speakers integrated in the headrests, takes care of the acoustic pleasure.
In the cockpit, the Geely Starray EM-i is equipped with a 10.2-inch digital instrument panel behind the steering wheel and a 15.4-inch central touch screen with an ultra-thin frame, and in the driver's field of vision a 13.8-inch Head-up display with high brightness is visible, which provides crystal clear visibility even in strong sunlight. The system supports online updates and continuous improvement of functions.
The advanced protective structure includes 7 airbags, including a central one between the driver and passenger seats, battery protection, full insulation of fuel and electricity circuits, and a system for automatically turning off the power in the event of a collision. The innovative battery design has been tested in more than 100 extreme scenarios.
The advanced driver assistance system combines multiple intelligent functions such as autonomous emergency braking, adaptive and intelligent cruise control, active lane keeping, blind spot detection monitoring, rear cross-traffic warning, road sign recognition and an intelligent high beam control system, all of which is supported by the 360-degree panoramic view from four cameras, which provide the driver with greater safety, visibility and control in all situations.
Recently, the Geely Starray EM-i received the prestigious 5-star safety rating in the Euro NCAP tests.
