Radev: The fight against drugs is a top priority

The fight against the production and distribution of drugs is a key priority of the government, stated Prime Minister Rumen Radev at the beginning of the Council of Ministers meeting. He emphasized the need for decisive action by the Ministry of Interior and security services to ensure the future of children and the country.

"I thank the employees of the Ministry of Interior for dismantling the laboratory for the deadliest drug - fentanyl," added the Prime Minister.

Details about the dismantled laboratory

The General Directorate for Combating Organized Crime (GDBOP) conducted a successful operation, during which a synthetic fentanyl laboratory was dismantled. According to information from the acting Chief Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, Lyubomir Nikolov, the facility was the main source of the drug for the entire territory of the country.
