Natural gas at the TTF hub in the Netherlands has risen to its highest price since late 2022, data from the ICE exchange shows.
At 11:55 Bulgarian time, December futures, which are contracts for delivery in December, traded at €102.255 per megawatt hour. Trading opened today at €98.745.
Gas closed at €97.921 yesterday. That was its highest close since late 2022, for another day in a row.
Gas is cheaper in Bulgaria. On the Balkan Gas Hub trading platform, the day-ahead price for a megawatt hour to be delivered on 30 October is €92.82.
In the intraday segment, trading ended yesterday at €94.71 per megawatt hour. Today's reference price matches the price for delivery on 30 October.
