Bagpipe Orchestra "Mladost" and Soloists from Burgas Triumph at National Folklore Competitions

The Bagpipe Orchestra "Mladost" and the soloists from the Center for Personal Development Support - Burgas won First Prize at "Dinyo Marinov" and took home gold medals at "Orfeevo izvorche", demonstrating high achievements and talent in folk music.

The “Mladost” bagpipe orchestra and the soloists from the Center for Personal and Leisure Activities – Burgas, led by Stoyko Georgiev, achieved remarkable successes at two of the most prestigious national folklore forums.

At the XXXI National Children's Folklore Competition “Dinyo Marinov” in Varna, the orchestra won First Prize, solidifying its leading position among youth ensembles.

At the XXVI National Children's Musical and Folklore Competition “Orfeevo izvorche” in Stara Zagora, the performers from the Center for Personal and Leisure Activities – Burgas won a number of awards, including gold medals for Mariela Plahova, Ognyan Petrov, Stoyan Hristov, Plamen Kralev, and Nina Kyoseva.

Plamen Kralev, Ognyan Petrov, and Stoyan Hristov were awarded one-year scholarships, and Zhivomir Palov, Georgi Kutsarov, and Boyan Georgiev also impressed the audience.

The vocal formation “Morski pesachinki” (Seashore Sand Grains) from the Center for Personal and Leisure Activities – Burgas, led by Milena Dobreva, also won First Prize at “Orfeevo izvorche”.

These successes are proof of hard work and a love for music, representing pride for Burgas.
