Energy Minister Zhecho Stankov announced today that he is sending an expert team to the Burgas region after receiving a request from the regional governor. The purpose of this mission is to conduct a detailed assessment of the condition of the electricity transmission network in the region.

The decision comes against the backdrop of growing tension regarding the reliability of the energy infrastructure, considering the critical role of the electricity transmission network in ensuring a stable electricity supply to the population and businesses. The Energy Minister confirmed the seriousness of the situation, which necessitates urgent intervention and on-site assessment.

Representatives of the local authorities have, obviously, expressed serious concern about potential problems in the electricity transmission network, which motivated the request for assistance from the central government. The experts sent by Minister Stankov will be tasked with identifying the specific causes of the potential problems and proposing solutions for their elimination. Their report is expected to be key to the development of a long-term strategy for the maintenance and modernization of the network.

During the preparation for sending the experts, a tense atmosphere was observed in the ministry.
