Elenite: Emergency Measures Due to Flood, Mobilizing Resources

The Regional Administration of Burgas has taken emergency measures in Elenite due to the flood. They are mobilizing boats and divers from the Naval Base "Atia". The mayor of Sveti Vlas describes the situation as difficult.

The Regional Administration of Burgas has taken urgent measures to manage the crisis situation in the resort village of Elenite. The press center of the administration informed BTA that a request has been sent to the Naval Base "Atia" to mobilize additional resources. These include boats and divers, who will support the rescue operations and efforts to deal with the disaster.

At this moment, the administration emphasizes that they do not have confirmed information about casualties or victims as a result of the flood. The Regional Governor of Burgas, Vladimir Krumov, is also on his way to Elenite to coordinate the actions on the ground.

A BTA reporter covering the events conveys the tense situation in the area. Ten firefighting teams are heading towards Elenite, accompanied by heavy equipment and teams from "Civil Protection". The police have cordoned off the area, ensuring control and safety. The footage from the scene shows overturned vehicles and uprooted trees, testifying to the force of the natural disaster.

The situation in Elenite is extremely difficult, according to the words of the mayor of Sveti Vlas, Ivan Nikolov, quoted by BTA. The teams are working to clarify the scale of the disaster and provide assistance to the population.
