Leading British luxury car manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) is taking a strategic adjustment to its electric program, officially announcing a delay in the market launch of key models. The first fully electric Range Rover, which was originally planned for the end of 2025, will be introduced in 2026.

The decision affects over 60,000 potential customers who are expecting the new model. The company cites the need for additional testing and thorough market preparation as the main reasons for the delay. In parallel, two new electric Jaguar models, including Type 00, will also be postponed to August 2026.

Despite the temporary delay, JLR definitively confirms its strategic commitment to electrification. The company maintains its ambitious goal of developing electric vehicles by 2030, taking into account the complex regulatory and tariff challenges in the automotive industry.
