A wave of youthful enthusiasm is approaching Burgas, aimed at protecting the environment and the Black Sea. Young people from the city have the unique opportunity to participate in the creation of an eco-documentary spectacle that will focus on key issues such as climate change and its impact on nature in the region. The project, entitled "Voices of the Sea", invites all those aged between 15 and 30 who live in Burgas and are interested in art, nature and environmental themes to join this initiative.

As witnesses to the topicality of the topic, the severe weather conditions that have affected the area in recent days only underscore the importance of the project. Gathered in Burgas, the stories of local fishermen, farmers, scientists and ecologists will be recreated by young people using artistic methods to raise awareness and empathy for the challenges associated with climate change.

The project "Voices of the Sea" is the result of collaboration between the ECOgART Foundation, Burgas Municipality and the "Center for Young Talents - Burgas". It is carried out with the financial support of Burgas Municipality within the framework of the KAMALE initiative (KlimAte Mindful Actions Led by Engaged Youth Leaders), which is part of the Sublime SDGs project, co-financed by the DEAR program of the European Commission. The project encourages not only creative thinking and youth participation on important environmental issues, but also develops skills in teamwork, stage performance and civic engagement.

Training in verbatim theater and environmental education is planned to take place on October 11 and 12, 2025 (Saturday and Sunday). Rehearsals and performances are scheduled for the last week of November 2025. All activities will take place in the city of Burgas.
