Two Dead in Fires in Bulgaria in the Last 24 Hours

Two people lost their lives in fires in Burgas and Plovdiv region in the last 24 hours, the General Directorate "Fire Safety and Protection of the Population" reported. A total of 63 fires were registered, of which 19 caused material damage.

Two people died and one person was injured in fires in the past 24 hours in the country, the Main Directorate "Fire Safety and Population Protection" of the Ministry of Interior announced on its website. 

On April 11 at 12:39 p.m. in Burgas, the teams responded to a report of a fire in a house located in Primorsko, in which an 86-year-old woman died. At 2:19 p.m. in Plovdiv, a report of a fire in a house in the village of Cheshnegirovo, Sadovo municipality, was received, in which a 79-year-old man died.

The fire department teams extinguished a total of 63 fires. 19 fires occurred with direct material damage. 44 fires occurred without material damage. 19 rescue activities and auxiliary operations were carried out.

The false calls for the past 24 hours are four.
