Two road incidents in Burgas on April 1
On April 1, two separate road incidents were recorded in Burgas, with injuries sustained.
Incident No. 1: Hit-and-run pedestrian
At around 11:17 yesterday, on Maragidik Street No. 17, a light vehicle driven by a 31-year-old woman from Burgas, while reversing, hit a 62-year-old pedestrian. The man sustained an injury to the tailbone area but his life is not in danger.

Incident No. 2: Car accident with pole collision
Later that day, at around 19:41 on Todor Aleksandrov Street towards the "South" junction, a second incident occurred. A light vehicle driven by a 23-year-old man from Burgas collided with a metal streetlight pole while driving at an inappropriate speed.
Results of the incidents
- In the first case, the injured person was examined and released for home treatment.
- The second case ended with a femoral fracture—the driver was admitted to UMBAL - Burgas.

The police remind all drivers to adjust their speed according to road conditions and traffic, as well as to exercise increased attention when maneuvering in urban environments.
