Cultural organisations from across Bulgaria can get up to €125,000 per project if they are included in the National Cultural Calendar for 2027, the Ministry of Culture said. Proposals are accepted until 27 November.
For next year, the ministry is also setting aside a special category for events linked to Eurovision 2027, which Burgas will host. One project in this category can get up to €60,000. Cultural organisations and artists from Burgas can apply too.
The national programme pays for individual projects in five main areas. These are the performing arts, historical memory, the work of museums, galleries and libraries, and international events in Bulgaria and abroad.
All registered cultural organisations in Bulgaria can take part, but each can submit only one proposal. Projects must be sent to the ministry online and signed with a qualified electronic signature.
