Saturday will be cloudy across Bulgaria, with rain in many places, mostly in the west and centre. Most areas will have almost no wind, but in the east a light to moderate wind will blow from the east-northeast.
Night temperatures will be 7C to 12C, with about 7C in Sofia. Daytime highs will be 10C to 15C, with about 11C in the capital.
The Black Sea coast will also be cloudy, with highs of 13C to 14C. The wind will be moderate at most, from the north-northeast. Waves will be 2-3 on the sea-state scale, and the sea water is 16C to 17C.
In the mountains, rain will fall mostly in the western and central ranges. Snow will fall above 1,800 metres. Temperatures will reach about 8C at 1,200 metres and about 3C at 2,000 metres. The wind will be moderate at most, from the south-southwest, and at times strong on the high ground.
Cloud and rain will last through the next three days, and heavy rain is more likely in some places. Snow will fall in the mountains above about 1,500-1,600 metres, and thunderstorms are expected in the Rila-Rhodope region. The wind will be moderate to strong and easterly, and in eastern Bulgaria from the east-northeast. In most areas, lows will be 6C to 12C and highs 7C to 17C.
On Wednesday, rain in the west will gradually stop. The wind will ease and turn northwesterly. The east will still have rain, with mostly moderate wind from the north-northeast. Temperatures will fall.
