The management of the State Agency for Refugees is taking radical steps to overcome systemic problems, as the new chairman Ivan Ivanov insists on immediate improvements in the conditions of refugee centers.

The senior management of the State Agency for Refugees held a strategic working meeting with the participation of key government officials. During the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Atanas Zafirov and Chairman Ivan Ivanov, accompanied by his deputy Nikola Kazakov, discussed the critical challenges in the system.

Zafirov emphatically emphasized that the new management unit is focused on overcoming inherited structural deficits. Upon taking office, Ivanov conducted a thorough analysis of existing conditions and discovered serious shortcomings in refugee reception centers.

The agency's leadership defined the inherited conditions as extremely unacceptable and immediately took specific actions. Ivan Ivanov formulated a series of urgent measures, the rapid implementation of which is of paramount importance for improving the environment and care for refugees.

The proposed interventions include a comprehensive reorganization of existing registration and reception centers, improvement of living conditions, and review of accommodation. The new management demonstrates a clear determination to transform the institution's work.
