The results were formed by summing two scores - that for the Program for the management of MBALD of "St. Anastasia" presented by the candidates for the next 3 years and from today's interview. All four candidates impressed the commission, chaired by municipal councilor Dr. Lidia Stefanova. In addition to presenting their hospital management programs in a summary, the candidates solved cases related to their work as potential future heads of the Children's Hospital in Burgas. The pressing issue of the shortage and attraction of medical specialists was also commented on.

"This project is new for the country and will attract people dedicated to the cause and decided to devote themselves specifically to pediatric medicine," said Dr. Zdravkov for the Children's Hospital of Burgas. According to him, it is the most meaningful investment in infrastructure in healthcare in many years. The winner of the competition stressed that he has always been a person who seeks communication with structures and units looking in the same direction.

"For me, this is a mission. I believe that the soul of a hospital is the people," added Dr. Tomov.

After the end of the competition, the Commission is to propose the selected candidate to the Municipal Council in Burgas. Dr. Zdravkov is expected to present his program for the management of the Children's Hospital to the councilors on March 17.
