The Center for Public Support (CPS) – Burgas celebrated 20 years of successful activity with a celebratory event that gathered numerous honorary guests.
Among them were the Mayor of Burgas Municipality, Dimitar Nikolov, representatives of the Burgas District Court, the District Prosecutor"s Office, the Burgas Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior, as well as representatives of other municipal structures, social institutions, partners and donors of the center.
The hall was filled with an emotional atmosphere, palpable from the entrance. There was a feeling of pride, but also an awareness of the responsibility for the future of the CPS.
The Mayor and the Development of CPS
Mayor Dimitar Nikolov, expressing his congratulations, shared his personal impressions of the center"s development over the years.
"I see it in the eyes of the satisfied parents and especially in the smiling children, I"m interested in how things happen. But what can I tell you, now it"s easy, there is a perfect manager and a great team. I remember the first days, when it was very complicated, but I"m glad that we overcame those moments and found the best solution. Now CPS is an example and even people from other cities come to use our experience"
he emphasized, describing the path traveled by CPS since its creation. His words unequivocally demonstrated his approval of the progress achieved.
Gratitude from the Manager
The manager of CPS – Burgas, Maria Atanasova, used the celebratory occasion to express her gratitude to everyone who contributed to the center"s success.
"Thank you for the support we receive from partners and like-minded people, because the most important capital is people and they give their heart and soul for what we do and we are what we are because we have an army of people behind us who help us. Everyone here today has a significant contribution to this. The heart of CPS will continue to beat for all the children and families. And I hope that in the coming years we will be together, side by side"
she stated, emphasizing the key role of human capital in achieving the goals of CPS.
In recognition of the center"s twenty years of uninterrupted work, 20 "Crystal Heart_q_ awards were presented. This symbolic award is an expression of respect for the purity, strength and dedication of all who contributed to the support of children and families in Burgas.
The jubilee event presented both the first steps of CPS and the new challenges it faces in the future. Children, parents, colleagues and friends shared emotional messages of gratitude, turning the celebration into a true community festival and marking twenty years dedicated to caring for the most vulnerable.
