Women in Burgas can get a free breast cancer check on 7 November at Burgasmed University Hospital.
It is the fourth screening point in the city under the national "Pass It On" campaign. Dr Sabrina Yosifova will do the checks, and women can book through an online form.
In the last round, 106 women had free checks at three medical centres in Burgas. Doctors sent 24 of them for a further mammogram, two for surgery and two for a biopsy. The rest had benign findings or were advised to come back for follow-up checks.
The campaign is run by the Lady Bikers MPowered Bulgaria association and the Bulgarian Breast Cancer Society. It aims to promote early prevention and raise awareness. Volunteer doctors, Burgas council and the local motorcycle community support it.
More than 1,350 women in Bulgaria have been checked since the campaign began four years ago.
