Tsarevo has acquired a unique nursing bench, donated to the municipality by Georgi and Daniel Bachvarov, father and son from the town.
The innovation, mounted near a playground, opposite the District Court building, is a bench with an innovative rotating seat, specially designed for the convenience of breastfeeding mothers.
The idea is to provide a peaceful and comfortable place for mothers to care for their children outdoors.
The functionality of the bench is striking, allowing mothers to control their visibility while breastfeeding, providing them with an additional sense of security and privacy.
The setting around the bench is calm and attractive, creating a pleasant atmosphere for both mothers and babies, as well as for those around them.
The idea for the bench belongs to Tanya Anesteva from Burgas, known for her innovative "bench-books", which have become a familiar part of the urban landscape in many Bulgarian cities.
Anesteva"s initiative is an example of an effective combination of functionality, aesthetics, and care for the needs of the community.
"We proudly present the first bench with a rotating seat for breastfeeding and donate it to the Tsarevo Municipality. Thus, my hometown became not only the first in Bulgaria, but also in the world with this unique element of the urban environment – a symbol of care, innovation, and attention to families_q_,
said Daniel Bachvarov during the official presentation of the donation.
His words emphasize not only the functional but also the symbolic value of the bench – an expression of care for mothers and children, as well as the desire to improve the urban environment and enhance the quality of life in Tsarevo.
This is an example of a public-private partnership contributing to the improvement of the town and demonstrating social responsibility.
