The P. R. Slaveykov primary school in Burgas has joined the Association of Cambridge Schools in Bulgaria, the school said. It is about to mark 115 years since its founding.
The association is a community of schools that value high quality, innovation and modern teaching.
The school says membership will let staff share experience and take part in education projects, and will help teachers gain qualifications. Pupils will improve their language skills.
School leaders say they want a modern setting that supports children as they find their talent, develop their abilities and succeed.
"We believe good education is built on bold goals, motivated teachers, curious pupils, supportive parents and partnerships that open new horizons," said head teacher Eng. Stefka Zhecheva.
