Unexpectedly warm weather continues to attract thousands to Burgas" beaches at the end of September. The last sunny days before the astronomical arrival of autumn prove to be a real magnet for the residents and guests of the seaside city. The bustle on the North Beach in Burgas during this unusually warm period of the year is unexpectedly intense. The beach, instead of emptying, seems to be in the midst of the summer season. The scene is filled with the characteristic sounds of summer "- the laughter of children, the sound of the waves, the gentle hum of umbrellas located under the autumn sun.
"The so-called long weekend is favorable for sunbathing. The temperature of the sea water is also warm, pleasant. The beach is filling up to this day. We are a city beach and most of the beachgoers are locals. We also have tourists from inland Bulgaria. This year, I"m currently observing frequent Poles and Slovaks, which is also a surprise for me. What I"m noticing is that the establishments are also filling up.", commented the lifeguard Ivan Georgiev. The unexpected presence of tourists from Poland and Slovakia is an interesting feature this year, he adds, describing the lively atmosphere and full establishments along the coast.
"The weather is gorgeous. Those who have vacations and are in Burgas, this is a very nice pastime to do a workout before a midday beach, maybe an afternoon one too.", shares Dimitar Nikolov, emphasizing the ideal conditions for sports activities combined with a beach holiday.
"The sun is shining, the sea is calm, what could be better? As long as it"s warm, I"m on the beach. I use every free moment to be here.", says Lyuba, expressing the general feeling of pleasure from the unexpectedly long summer. Another beachgoer, Anna Gencheva, notes:
"It"s ideal! The best weather! This year it turned out that there were waves all of August and it wasn"t suitable for small children.". Her words emphasize the contrast with the previous month and the gratitude for the good weather now.
Two patrolling pairs of lifeguards are taking care of the safety of the many beachgoers, who will continue their work until the end of September.
"According to the water rescue program from September 16th, two rescue posts with two rescuers each are operating, who make patrols along the entire length of the beach.", confirms Ivan Georgiev, ensuring the peace of mind of the vacationers. The beach_q_s medical point, equipped with a resuscitator and a nurse, also remains open until the end of the month, ready for any eventuality. Weather forecasts promise a continuation of sunny days, further extending the unusual summer season in Burgas.
