Two duos from Burgas returned home with medals from the World Championships in acrobatic gymnastics in Pesaro, Italy. The athletes train at the "Naftex 2024" sports club in Burgas.
Sofia Hristova and Hristiyana Yulieva took silver in the women's pairs event in the 13–19 age group. In the combined final, they scored 27.660 points.
Bulgaria added a bronze medal thanks to Hasan Ismil and Simona Ivanova, who competed in the mixed pairs category for ages 12–18. They finished the final with 27.150 points.
Both duos were already European champions, and now they can add world medals to their achievements.
The club congratulated the athletes and thanked the coaching staff for their work in preparing them.
