International festival inspires with examples of humanity
Today, the fifth edition of the International Youth Literary and Film Festival "Friendship – Meaning and Salvation" officially opens at the NHK Cultural Center in Burgas. The forum brings together 30 finalists from Bulgaria and abroad, awarded in the prestigious "He Who Saves One Human Life, Saves the Whole Universe" competition.
"The rescue of the Bulgarian Jews is a lesson in humanity that young people translate into art," share the organizers from the Alef Center.
Festival program:
- Expert lectures: Prof. Dr. Rumyana Hristidi (Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski") will speak about the historical aspects of the rescue.
- Creative meetings: Writer Prof. Dr. Georgi Bardarov and screenwriter Ivo Siromahov will hold discussions on the power of humanity.
- Competition segment: Young people from all over the world present their projects, inspired by the historical act of Bulgarian society.
The event aims to promote tolerance and memory among the young generation through the power of words and cinema.
