Commemoration at the monument to the 24th Black Sea Infantry Regiment
On Monday, June 1st, at 5:30 PM, the city of Burgas will gather to pay well-deserved tribute to the heroes who gave their lives for the liberation of the Macedonian Bulgarians. The ceremony will take place in front of the monument to the 24th Black Sea Infantry Regiment, located in the immediate vicinity of the Military Club.
"We remember and honor the feat of our ancestors, who did not hesitate to sacrifice their most precious possession in the name of the national ideal."
Program of the memorial ritual:
- Musical accompaniment: Solemn performances by the Burgas Brass Band.
- Spiritual part: A memorial prayer served by Archimandrite Dimitri – protosyncellus of the Sliven Metropolitan Arseniy, together with representatives of the Orthodox clergy.
- Civil ritual: Laying of wreaths and flowers by public figures, organizations, and citizens.
