Burgas Municipality invites teachers, educational mediators, social workers, and institutional representatives to participate in a seminar focused on sharing best practices and strengthening inter-institutional cooperation. The forum is scheduled for September 30, 2026, from 09:00 to 13:00, and will be held at the Burgas International Youth Center, located at 15 Apostol Voyvoda St., Meden Rudnik district.
The initiative is part of the BG05SFPR001-1.002-0008-C01 "Chance for the Future" project, developed under the "Access to Education for Every Child" procedure. Funding is provided by the European Union through the "Education" Program 2021-2027. The project's primary objective is to reduce early school leaving and ensure full coverage of children of compulsory preschool and school age, with a particular focus on youth from vulnerable and marginalized communities.
The seminar program includes several key topics. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about successful models for working with parents from vulnerable groups, aimed at preventing children from dropping out of the educational process. The transfer of effective methods for supporting at-risk children and students will also be discussed. Last but not least, attention will be given to building lasting cooperation between all institutions involved in the educational process.
