Burgas invests in education: Summer programs for children and students

The Municipality of Burgas continues its "Together for Education" and "Read Me a Fairytale" educational programs during the summer. See how students and pupils are getting involved in the initiative.

Summer Education and Family Support in Burgas

Burgas municipal councilors have approved the continuation of two key educational programs – "Together for Education" and "Read Me a Fairy Tale". These initiatives are part of the municipality's strategy to support young families and quality early childhood development.

Practical Experience for Students in Kindergartens

The "Together for Education" program is implemented in partnership with BSU and Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov University. It aims to ensure a continuous learning process during July and August, while providing student teachers with the opportunity to gain valuable experience.

Participants will receive remuneration in the amount of 90% of the base salary for the "teacher" position.

Who can join?

Volunteering: "Read Me a Fairy Tale"

The "Read Me a Fairy Tale" initiative attracts student volunteers (from 7th to 11th grade) who will read to children in kindergartens. The activities are held outdoors every weekday from July 1st to August 15th.

Main goals of the initiative:

As a gesture of appreciation, the volunteers will be rewarded with book vouchers. These programs reinforce Burgas's position as a leader in creating a modern and supportive environment for young people.
