"Bulgargaz" has proposed a natural gas price for December of 65.24 leva (33.36 euros) per megawatt-hour (MWh), excluding access fees, transmission fees, excise duty, and VAT. This information was officially provided in an application submitted by the company to the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC). The regulator is competent to approve the proposed price, and the application has been published on the official website of the EWRC.
In the context of the proposed price, it is worth recalling that the EWRC approved a natural gas price for November in the amount of 65.82 BGN/MWh (33.65 euros), again emphasizing that this is without included access fees, transmission fees, excise duty and VAT. If the proposed price for December is approved, this will mean a decrease of 0.88 percent compared to the price in November.
It is especially important to note that "Bulgargaz" indicates a significant increase in the initially submitted requests from customers for the month of December. According to the information provided, this increase amounts to approximately 266,000 MWh. The main part of this change is related to requests for increasing the requests from regulated customers. The company clarifies that as a result of these changes, the influence of the delivery price of Azerbaijani quantities on the final price significantly decreases, which is due to a reduction in their share in the overall price mix.
