We propose 100% machine voting, as it was in the 2021 elections, commented Bozhidar Bozhanov, co-chair of “Yes, Bulgaria,” to journalists.

Tomorrow, the project for changes by “We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria” in the Electoral Code will be considered on first reading in the legal committee, as well as on second vote. Bozhanov emphasized that the machines have proven that they produce “clean elections.”

According to him, there are concerns about manipulations, therefore a proposal has been made to the Central Election Commission - whoever thinks that the machines can be manipulated, should try to do it. Bozhanov stressed that the machines are not something new, but a return to the previous state. According to him, the current majority can introduce optical scanners, which will preserve the schemes for buying votes.

Bozhanov announced a protest for fair elections tomorrow evening. He specified that they support the proposal for a control count of the receipts, as well as President Rumen Radev.

“Vazrazhdane” also supports 100% machine voting.
