The leading German luxury car manufacturer BMW categorically confirms its financial strategy for 2025, despite significant trade challenges. The company officially announced on July 31 that the new 15-percent tariffs on European imports will put pressure on operational profitability.

According to the corporate statement, the profit margin in the automotive segment will be reduced by approximately 1.25 percentage points in the second half of the year. Nevertheless, strong production in the United States provides a significant buffer to compensate for potential losses.

Financial results confirm the company's resilience – the operating margin of 5.4% in the second quarter remains within the target range between 5 and 7 percent. Unlike BMW, some competitors such as Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz have already made adjustments to their annual forecasts.

BMW's strategic approach demonstrates confidence and adaptability in the dynamic international trade environment while maintaining its initially stated financial goals.
