Nearly 190 million euros have been paid out across the six investments being implemented by the Ministry of Health under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. This was announced by Minister of Health Katya Ivkova during the presentation of the ministry's report on reforms and investments under the plan.
Ivkova noted that in just four months, significant progress has been made on activities that had previously stalled in previous years.
The intensified leadership and expert work have allowed investment risks to be minimized, ensuring that funds are not lost, the Minister added.
According to her, high-tech equipment has already been delivered to 50 medical facilities. This includes technology for stroke treatment as well as for pediatric care.
Ivkova also noted that 100 outpatient clinics have been established across 37 municipalities, and several information systems have been created.
