The local Employment Bureau's statistics reveal interesting employment trends in Haskovo region during the past month. The municipalities of Svilengrad and Haskovo demonstrate extremely stable indicators, reaching an equal level of 4.9 percent unemployment.
While Haskovo led the ranking in the previous two months, now both municipalities share the top position. The contrast with other municipalities in the region is impressive, especially with the Simeonovgrad municipality, which continues to stand out with the highest unemployment rate - 17.1 percent, representing a slight increase compared to May.
The regional statistics show a minimal increase of 0.01 percent compared to the previous month. The overall unemployment rate for Haskovo region reaches 6.31 percent, which is significantly above the national average of 5.09 percent. This result changes the region's position from 13th to 12th place nationwide.
By the end of the reporting period, a total of 5,254 unemployed were registered in the regional employment offices. Of these, 636 people are newly registered, with the predominant part - around 50 percent - from the "Services" sector. These data outline the dynamic labor market picture in Haskovo region.
