Until January 4, 2026, hourly paid parking for cars in the short-term paid parking zones in the municipality of Pomorie is canceled. This was announced by the press center of the municipality.
The measure was introduced by order of Mayor Ivan Aleksiev. The press center of the Pomorie municipality also informs that “St. St. Cyril and Methodius” square will be closed for parking from 5:00 PM on December 31st until the end of the festive event on January 1, 2026.
On December 31st, there will be a festive concert on the open stage in front of the “Prosveta 1888” National Community Center. It will start at 11:00 PM. Plamen Bonev and Magi Dzhanavarova will participate. There will be fireworks and folk dances.
The Municipality of Pomorie provides free transport for those wishing to participate in the New Year's celebration. A bus will depart at 11:00 PM from the “Saint George” quarter to the center and will return to the quarter at 01:00 AM. On January 1, 2026, the first run of the city buses will be at 7:30 AM.
Parking in the blue zone in Burgas will also not be charged until December 28th, inclusive. On the two working days between the holidays – December 29th and 30th, parking in the zone will be subject to payment. Free parking will be available again from December 31st to January 4th, inclusive.
