Senior officials from the State Agency for Refugees conducted an unprecedented inspection of migration centers in the Sofia neighborhoods of "Ovcha Kupel", "Military Ramp", and "Vrazhdebnа". Head Ivan Ivanov and his deputy Nikola Kazakov documented extremely difficult living conditions that seriously question the humane treatment of those seeking protection.
During a journalist tour, the leadership demonstratively revealed the scale of the problems. "These premises are completely unfit for normal human life," Ivanov firmly stated to media representatives while guiding them through the "Military Ramp" center.
The leadership emphasized that such a condition is unacceptable for a European Union member state. Ivanov explained that upon taking office three weeks ago, he discovered numerous systemic irregularities that he immediately began to address.
The official inspection initiated urgent measures to improve conditions. The agency's leadership requested a comprehensive detailed report and outlined specific tasks for a radical change in the infrastructure of refugee centers.
