Non-governmental organizations raised the critical need for a comprehensive integration policy to overcome the challenges of refugee social adaptation in Bulgaria. At an official press conference on August 1, 2025, experts highlighted the lack of targeted support mechanisms.

According to the presented analyses, key problem areas include limited access to language training, professional qualification, and employment opportunities. Specialists in the sector propose creating a coordination center that would combine the efforts of state institutions, the non-governmental sector, and businesses.

The UNHCR report confirms the alarming statistics - Bulgaria is among the countries with the most dynamic growth of newly arrived refugees in the region. This necessitates urgent and targeted integration measures to ensure social adaptation and full realization of migrants.
