For the 20th consecutive year, the Regional Council of the Bulgarian Red Cross - Burgas held the "Give Christmas" campaign. This year, 16 schools and 2 kindergartens participated, and the collected sum reached a record 13,538 leva.
The funds were used to purchase gifts (toys and treats), school backpacks and supplies, and shopping vouchers. A total of 255 children and young people were supported, including those from the Day Center “St. Nicholas the Miracle Worker” Burgas, the Center for Public Support-Burgas, children from “St. Paisius of Hilendar” Kableshkovo Elementary School, children from large families, children at UMBAL Burgas, children from foster families, children with special educational needs, children from socially disadvantaged families, as well as children and young people from the CNST Karnobat.
The campaign was realized through the sale of a branded "Give Christmas" card for a minimum donation of 1 lev. The young people from the Bulgarian Red Cross Youth actively participated in it.
