A team from the Bulgarian Red Cross - Burgas, in partnership with volunteers from the Disaster, Accident and Crisis Response Volunteer Team (DERBAK) of the Bulgarian Red Cross - Burgas, as well as a paramedic from the organization's Mobile Health Team and volunteers from the Municipal Organization of the Bulgarian Red Cross - Nessebar, have been mobilized in the area of Sveti Vlas. Their task is to provide assistance to injured and endangered people.

At the location, where time seems to have stood still in anticipation, the teams are faced with the challenge of coordinating their actions in a complex environment. At this stage, over 100 people have been evacuated.

The activities of the volunteers and employees of the Bulgarian Red Cross are focused on providing the most necessary things. They have provided drinking water, food, and first aid to those in need. Medical assistance has been provided to 10 people.

Around 60 people have found shelter in the Sveti Vlas town hall. The teams of the Bulgarian Red Cross - Burgas remain on site and are ready to support the ongoing evacuation.

Currently, there is tension at the location, and the faces of the people clearly show the anxiety about what is happening. The Bulgarian Red Cross is determined to continue its support for the affected citizens. The organization will provide both first aid and basic humanitarian needs.
