The Chairperson of the National Assembly Natalia Kiselova outlined key perspectives for the future of the Balkan region during a youth conference organized by the Bulgarian Socialist Party. In her exposition, she emphasized the importance of interstate solidarity and the strategic unity of the peninsula.
In the context of current international challenges, Kiselova highlighted the need to build lasting good-neighborly relations. "Our membership in the European Union creates unique opportunities for regional convergence," the parliamentary leader told the youth representatives of left-wing formations.
Among the main priorities of the upcoming presidencies that Bulgaria will coordinate are two leading directions. The first is focused on deepening the integration processes between Balkan countries, and the second addresses youth policies as a strategic instrument for future development.
With nostalgia, Kiselova recalled her own experience from two decades ago, when as a young political activist she participated in similar regional initiatives. "The government at that time laid the foundations for our European integration, and today we continue the same mission," she emphasized.
In an emotional conclusion to her speech, the parliamentary chairperson encouraged young political activists to build international friendships and work towards the unification of the Balkans. As a symbolic gesture, she invited the participants to visit her native Kazanlak - the "Rose Valley", which she defined as "the most beautiful part of Bulgaria".
Natalia Kiselova's message outlined a clear vision for the future - united, solidary, and striving towards common goals, Balkan countries can achieve significant progress in political and social development.
