The sun rays illuminated the schoolyard of the Bulgarian educational center "Zlaten Vek" in Nuremberg, transforming the official closing of the 2024/2025 school year into an emotional and unforgettable event. Director Nadya Makaveeva shared details with BTA about the ceremony, which began after a gloomy and rainy morning.

In her opening speech, Makaveeva extended special thanks to the various participants in the school community. She emphasized the significance of the students, whose work and inspiration are at the core of the educational process, as well as the professionalism of the pedagogical team.

One of the most emotional moments was saying goodbye to colleagues who are embarking on a new professional path. Their contribution to preserving the Bulgarian language was honored with prolonged applause and grateful tears from the collective.

The official ceremony included the presentation of certificates, followed by a festive program with various attractions. Students enjoyed themed stations filled with games and challenges that provoked laughter and joy.

A special highlight was the ice cream cart, served by enthusiastic young "sellers" who distributed treats among children and adults. Music and good mood filled the entire schoolyard, turning the event into a true community celebration.

At the end of the ceremony, Nadya Makaveeva extended warm wishes to the students for a sunny and fun summer, emphasizing that everyone is eagerly awaiting the autumn resumption of classes.

School "Zlaten Vek" covers the educational period from preschool to 12th grade and is officially registered with the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science. The pedagogical team possesses the necessary qualification, and the issued certificates are recognized in Bulgaria.

The curriculum includes core subjects such as Bulgarian language and literature, geography and history of Bulgaria, with an emphasis on preserving national identity among Bulgarian children abroad.
