On Friday, July 4, 2025, the gallery space of the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Prague became the epicenter of an artistic celebration dedicated to the centenary of an outstanding Bulgarian painter.
The ceremonial opening attracted the attention of the diplomatic corps and cultural figures, among whom high-ranking guests stood out. Among the official representatives were His Excellency Dancho Michev - Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Bulgaria to the Czech Republic, Volodya Gotsev - director of the host institution, and Volkan Tanyıldız - Consul of the Republic of Turkey in Prague.
The exhibition was officially opened by Dr. Lyudmila Kutieva, director of the Cultural Center "Morsko Kazino" from the city of Burgas, who presented the creative path and significance of Georgi Baev in the context of Bulgarian fine arts.
The event emphasized the international recognition and importance of Bulgarian cultural heritage, creating a bridge between different diplomatic and artistic circles in the heart of Central Europe.
