Tsvetomir Eriminov set a new national record by placing 58th among men on the one-meter springboard in Singapore after a 31-year break.

Bulgarian water sports history marked a remarkable moment with Tsvetomir Ereminov's participation in the prestigious World Aquatics Championships in Singapore. The athlete achieved a significant ranking in the one-meter springboard discipline, overcoming a thirty-one-year national representation hiatus.

In an extremely competitive contest, Ereminov demonstrated professionalism and consistency, finishing with an impressive 232.60 points. His performance was more than symbolic - he laid the foundations for future development of diving in Bulgaria.

The international competition was dominated by Asian athletes. Chinese athlete Zhen Jiyuan convincingly won the gold medal with an exceptional 443.70 points, confirming his reputation as a leading competitor in the discipline. Mexican Osmar Olvera Ibarra won silver with 429.60 points, while his Asian competitor Yang Xiu finally completed the medal standings with a bronze result of 405.50 points.

Ereminov's participation becomes a turning point for Bulgarian performance in international water sports. His achievement not only revives the tradition but also sends a strong signal to young Bulgarian athletes about the possibilities in this highly technical discipline.
